We have known Matt for years, He joined the Navy the same day as my husband. They have grown really close over the years, so when Matt met Megan and pretty much told us that she was the one we were so excited. He is the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back so we knew Megan had to be special, and she sure is. Since Chad and Matt were best friends, we started hanging out and Megan and I became great friends. Who doesn’t love to have an amazing couple of friends that you can double date with, laugh with and have a blast every time your around them? When things started to get serious and Matt told Chad that he wanted to propose I was so excited! We planned a trip to Savannah, Ga for the weekend and on our first night there we walked around the historic city. When we got to Chippewa Square (where they filmed some of Forrest Gump) Matt got on one knee and asked Megan to marry him. From that day on, I knew I was going to have a life-long friend in Megan. She ended up asking me to be a Bridesmaid in their wedding and I couldn’t have been more excited! SO you’re probably thinking how in the world were you the bridesmaid and the photographer? I had an amazing team of photographers that helped me with that, and I couldn’t have done it without them. The wedding was absolutely beautiful, Megan chose a wine color for the mis-matched bridesmaid dresses, navy blue tuxes for the guys and lots of greenery. Ribault Club has the most gorgeous backdrop for photos, sunset on the marsh, huge lush green trees and so much character inside the ballroom. Here is just a little high-light form their beautiful day and I am SO thankful that I got to be apart of it in a different way! Congrats you two!
